Student Shot Dead By Federal Police Officer (Addis Ababa):

On Sunday, Nov. 5, at 10:30 pm, a sophomore student from Admas College was killed by a federal police officer on (main) Bole Road.

According to sources, Bereket Hadgu,24, was shot through the back while walking with friends, who were talking and laughing loudly. No words were ever exchanged between the policeman and his victim.

The officer, who has reportedly been taken into custody, has claimed that the gun “misfired” while he was hitting another student with the butt of the weapon; however, witnesses confirm that the shot was fired intentionally and without provocation.

The body of the student was returned Monday to his parents in Mekele.

Could you also verify similar story in which a student was killed in Makale University and the body was to be flown back to his parents in Wollega? It is as important and it has not been picked up by Ethiopian news media.

Watch Sadam Hussein’s trial carefully. This will be very important procedure to our country after freedom. EPRDF leaders prepare for fair trail and ready to pay the ultimate price for the all those massacre. We are collecting all evidences in secret to pile the file.
We are concentrating to collect the evidences on Meles Zenawi and his inner circles. Because he is the one gave direct order to his killers Federals. He took direct command and control of police and military under his power right after election.
I urge citizens to keep victims name places of incident date and if any eye witness. Please do not expose any name to any person until the time is right.

First of all I would like to mention my gratitude and admiration for your vested interst to our beloved people and country, which is suffering under ethnical colonialism of Tigrian(TPLF).

You are the voice of the voiceless 77+ Millions Ethiopians deprived of both the very minimal individual and collective right of any kind. You are a breath of fresh air! I thank you on behalf of myself, and that of Ethiopia and Ethiopians.

It is such a pity to learn that a triger happy TPLF conscript killed whoever they they want in impunity. His death will not be in vain!

you are trying to replace the irreplacaable addis ferenj, good luck to you, i am just a bit disturbed just because you are a ferenji you suddenyl become the voise of the voiceless, i am sure you have a role to play i am not sure to what extent, i guess if you are one of the many ferenjis in addis within the diplomatic community then maybe you should give insider knowledge as far as news is concerned there are many blogggers so we seem to be sharing the same news with the notable exception of the ground breaking role that EZ plays. so i say try a different tack ,tell us what is the best way of persuading the many ferenjis who seem to enjoy the fine wine and ethio girls it has to be said i have to witness this everyday with chagrin while heroes are languishing in jail in the hands of the most repressive regime this great country has ever known, maybe you should befriend these ferenjis and ask them to see the realy tragedy, i read somewhere that one of the diplomat commended the brutal Meles because ethiopia is not as repressive as Eritrea, as corrupt as Kenya or as unstable as Somalia so it is ok then ,rubbish, these ( ferenjis ex pat )are the ppl that we ordinary ethios cannot reach that you may be able to reach u need to work on them, sorry many ppl may have already said this to you. I always wonder how it is there is not one single ferenji journalist that asks the tough questions to the western leaders every other country seem to have a champion but not us ,so Lewit come on, u can do it, tell us what they are thinking by mingling with them.

If indeed this has happened, it is really sad. However, these days it has become hard for many of us to distinguish the opposition propagandists' "news" from the real news. I don't want assumptions to dominate my views,so you need to substantiate your news with evidences.
